Due to the unprecedented demand for available entries, there will be a small change to the entry process for the final batch of entries.
The sheer demand for entries is putting the BRKC website under strain, and we want to avoid the risk of slots being oversold. This can happen when multiple payments are being processed simultaneously.
So, on Wednesday 15th November at 20:00:
- A ‘Provisional Entry’ form will be released on the normal entry page
- Drivers will only need to submit their Name, Email and Date of Birth
- The eligible drivers will be sent a private, password-protected link to the main ‘2024 Entry Form’, on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Those drivers will have 24 hours to complete (and pay) for their full entry (16th November at 20:00). The password will expire after this time.
- All remaining ‘Provisional Entry’ drivers will be automatically added to our reserve list.
- Any drivers failing to pay for their full entry in time will have their place offered to the next person on the list, who also have 24 hours to pay and so on.
- Drivers can submit their details (using the same form) to included on the reserve list at any time, even when slots are sold out.
- Reserves will be contacted if further spaces become available
We also hope this helps to prevents potential entrants being excluded on the basis of bank processing problems, poor broadband speeds, different timezones….or just being a really slow typer!
As there are only 35 spaces remaining, all remaining entries will now be up for grabs. Competition winners who have been offered BRKC entries as part of a prize will also be included in the remaining entries.
